This Kid Has More Cool Stuff Than Me

If you look really closely you can actually make out an 11-year-old boy named Oscar Brown (pretty cool name) amongst that enormous pile of Super Mario Bros. schwag. I have to say that I’m a wii (I had to, I’m sorry) bit envious of this kid. He started collecting at 6 and in the ensuing five years he’s amassed over 1000 pieces. Seeing as he’s only 11 his dad provided a lot of help in getting this stuff. A lot of this stuff is easily available to get so I can only imagine as his hobby grows what he’s able to come up with on the rarer side. Check out the great time lapse video his dad, Mark, made and you can go ahead and bob your head to the music. No one’s watching or judging you. I promise. (Via Destructoid)

Bowser Jacket Is Totally Radical

I’m normally not blown away by such awesomely tubular things but what can I say, this one has me. This gorgeous jacket was sold on eBay for a whopping $119.99 which is quite the deal as this originally retailed for $200 (Right? I know!). The mullet infused gentleman selling it (pictured I think) must be worried about the deluge of ladies that would come his way and that’s why he doesn’t want to show his mug to the internetz. If you happen to be the cool kid who bought this and happen to also amble your way to my website please do send me a picture of you wearing it. I beg you. I can only assume you needed this for Comic Con this weekend so people will drool at your retroNES. (Via Gamesniped)

Wow! It’s even better from the front!

Toy Story 3 Tiki Mug That You Can’t Have

Do you see the faces in that tiki mug? That right there is a special edition of 500 mugs that were handed out by the director of Toy Story 3 to the crew. I’ve seen a lot of crew gifts (my girlfriend got a suitcase from Big Love. Weird, right?) but nothing as good as this. I would kill to get my hands on this but I doubt I’ll ever see one in the wild. Thanks to Superpunch for finding this.
