I’ve made obvious before my affection for custom toys here, here, here, and wow, even here. And even though this is just a custom paint job it still looks great. The toy itself is from the Marvel Universe line of toys which are the 3.75″ line of toys. It looks like Hasbro has taken the G.I. Joe formula and ran with it. I was always a fan of the G.I. Joe figures from the 80′s so these would have been right up my alley. The Galactus is scaled to the Silver Surfer figure who I must say is heralding quite well and actually comes with the Galactus figure in the retail version. Here’s what the two retail ones look like just for reference:

At 18″ he’s pretty big and I’m doing all I can to not run out to Toys R’ Us and grab this guy. Currently the custom one is up on eBay with a current bid of $58 and less than four days to go.
