That’s the face of a man who is not happy that he was snubbed for an Emmy Nomination. The actor is John Noble (also remembered as the man who ate messy cherry tomatoes in The Lord of the Rings)

and the character is Walter Bishop from the show Fringe. It’s hard for me to state the love that I have for his character of Dr. Bishop. He is a mad scientist who has lost pieces of his mind. Due to this he is scatterbrained but quite loveable. The amazing part is that his character is so well loved yet if he was right in thehead he would be quite ruthless and evil. He plays both parts extremely well and Fringe would not be the dynamic show it is if it was not for him. This is really just a mini rant as anyone who watches these mastubatory awards shows knows the true talent never wins and a narrative is already formed before the awards are handed out but it’s still a tragedy he is not recognized for a brilliant performance.
