Literally on my doorstep. I first made mention of this prize back on July 1st. I knew it would arrive around the end of the year, but shit it’s been five and a half months. I figured I’d give you guys the joy of a proper unboxing. I’ve always been a fan of unboxings which can be extremely geeky but oddly satisfying. Let’s dig in.

I was immediately intrigued by the bright yellow box. What could this be?

What an awesome level of presentation. I gotta say Nintendo, you never fail to impress.

“No,no Nintendo. Thank You!”

Finally, the reveal…

… and in all it’s  glory! At first glance the figures may appear to be plastic, but upon closer inspection it turns out the figures are made of a solid rubbery material. It adds a nice heft to the piece. The base is plastic though so I can say a wooden display would have been awesome.

The detailing and paint are nice and there are only a few smudges. I’m digging the cast of characters represented but it would still be awesome to see a bunch more.
