Wow, I can’t believe that I just typed that up there. So, you may or may not remember that one of the most important FPS’s of all time was the game Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64. It was based off of the movie by the same name but was singularly important for the fact that it brought FPS’s to the mainstream as well as multiplayer shooters. I don;t even know how many hours of playtime I put into that game in college and it probably had some contribution to my dropping out (sorry Mom and Dad). Well the powers that be have decided that right now is a great time to remake the original game and give a proper update. The graphics have been improved and as you can tell by the title they’ve decided to replace Pierce Brosnan’s Bond with the newer Daniel Craig version. Craig will also be providing the voiceover for him so I’m not exactly sure if that means the other characters played by Sean Bean, Famke Janssen, and Robbie Coltrane will be reprising their roles as well or will be replaced. I will say that it looks pretty good and as long as they include proximity mines then I’m game. The only problem I have with this is that they kept that little fucker Oddjob in. How dare they do that. (Via)
